This style is in no way meant to be historically accurate; it’s a pattern meant for cosplay and novice crafters. This pattern sports six pleats at the front and two pleats at the back! It is tied in a similar manner as most traditional Hakama and there is an option to include a pocket at the back to accommodate a wallet or phone while worn at a convention.
